Fellowship
"Warmer through Fellowship"
Fellowship helps you face life's problems by providing the support and encouragement of other Christians
This section is divided into:
What is Fellowship?
Fellowship helps you face life's problems by providing the support and encouragement of other Christians
Pastoral Care
Pastoral Care takes place in WBC naturally one for another, each person taking care of, loving and supporting, and watching over each other. This is level one pastoral care.
Church Members and regular attendees of the church are encouraged to attend a house group where level two pastoral care takes place.
Everyone in the church is then divided into a pastoral care group. This is level three pastoral care!
House Group are essentially their own pastoral care groups. Those not in house groups are then placed in additional care groups.
Within these care group level pastoral care takes place and our aim is to ensure that no person misses more than three consecutive Sundays in terms of church attendance.
The Pastor is "The Senior Care Giver" and provides level four pastoral care, and is usually available by appointment. In most respects, this kind of pastoral care is prioritised for church members of WBC.
Social Activities
Numerous social activities take place within WBC both as in-reach and out-reach. These are made known through our weekly notice sheet.
Membership of the Church
Membership of WBC is the ultimate place of fellowship and covenant committment of one to another. For information on this click on the baptism and membership button on the left. |
