Sam has been Pastor of Wellington Baptist Church since 2001. Before this he was Pastor of Oundle Baptist Church, Northamptonshire.

For an insight into Sam's Ministry background, click HERE for a glance at his Ministry Profile.

Sam trained at [to use their own words] the world renowned Spurgeon's College in South London, between the years of 1988-92. Under the Principalship of Rev Dr Paul Beasley-Murray, and a faculty that included Revd Dr Nigel Wright, Dr Martin Selman, Rev Dr Alastair Campbell and others, Sam qualified with a Degree in Theology, and a Diploma in Pastoral Studies. During his course, which majored within the Pastoral stream of training, he specialised in Evangelism, Leadership, Church Planting, Pastoral Care, and Administration. His degree essays included work on Liberation Theology, The Impact of Oliver Cromwell, and Church Growth. Church experience in this time involved ministries within Chelsea Baptist Church, East Sheen Baptist Church, & Dorchester Baptist Church.

As well as leading various UK Baptist Churches, he has ministered in Eastern Europe, and North America.
