Well the answer is loads!
We are a very busy town centre church at the very heart of a busy town!
As such, the church buildings are rarely quiet and are always being used in some way or other.
Our weekly life of the church revolves around our Worship, Fellowship, Mission, Discipleship and Ministry. See elsewhere on our site for the importance of these definitions!
A typical week will include:
Sundays
Worship services, children's activities. Fellowship together.
We now run two morning services - a 9am "Early" service and our normal 10.30 service. In the evening we hold occasional services, but these are mixed with a whole load of other types of activities.
`Shout' & "Scream" youth group meets.
Mondays
Meeting for prayer Children's outreach
Tuesdays
Small discipleship groups meet
Wednesdays
Thursdays
Small discipleship groups meet
Fridays
Meeting Point special needs group meet
This is only a typical week and many, many variances take place to this schedule, which would include Alpha, day time discipleship groups and prayer meetings. |
